The isolated hose and the support hose

The isolated hose is responsible for two tasks. The first task is to fix the high-altitude wind power

station at the earth and the second task is to forward the hot air.

The isolation is done by a vacuum or by aerogels.

The support hoses are working by the Archimedean principle. This means only the volume and the difference of the

air pressure is important for the uplift.

The hoses are starting at the surface and going to the wing.

One support hose can lift around 65 tons. If the weight is higher, it is possible to add more support hoses.

For the scope of the scalable prototype an isolated hose is developed and tested. For this

there a several options.

One option is to check a Vectran fabric with  a carbon fabric or a Aerographen fabric.

The Vectran is for the airtight and the carbon fabric or Aerographen is for the pressure.

One other option is to use a basalt fabric and graphs fabric.

The hoses are starting at the surface and going to the wing.

One support hose can lift around 65 tons.

In the past for cargo air ships until a height of 9.000 feet it was possible, without any

additional expansion of the balloon.

UPDATE: When insulating is done by a vacuum, the two hoses must have a distance between them.

This can be done by using spacers.
Alternatively, it can also be tested whether this can be achieved in the presence of a material with a high electrical

conductivity by passing current through both tubes and then generating the distance with the magnetic field.
