This “scalable prototype” is not a real prototype, different aspects are developed and analyzed.

The focus is on the new technology of different parts from the high-altitude wind power station.

The different steps are the followings:

Screw compressor:

Design a screw compressor made from carbon fibers. In the common structure there are no differences to an actual screw compressor.

Hose:

The hose must be designed. The structure is new and must be tested.

Diffusor:

For the diffusor in a first step the construction of a wind lens turbine can be used.

In this step, the focus is on the production with carbon fibers.

Low-speed wind turbine:

The structure of a traditional Dutch wind turbine is used.

In this step, the focus is producing the blades with carbon fibers.

Intellectual property rights:

During this project, new intellectual property rights are expected.

Others:

Making the approach public and starting to evaluate countries for the first location of a high-altitude wind power station.
